Japanese Liquid Lotions (J-Beauty's Liquid Elixir)

Japanese liquid lotions are just about a staples in a J-Beauty routine just as much as cleanser is in general. They combine time-tested ingredients with today's cutting-edge technology. Lotion not to be confused in the West & in the US as a lightweight cream formula. They can also be known as "essence" as well. They act in the same way and function as the prep step for your remaining treatment products serums & moisturizers to penetrate deeper into the skin and perform more effectively. The surge of hydration received you receive us an added benefit as well. Hydration levels are increased and Japanese skincare is all about the moisture & skin barrier of your skin and overall hydration for healthier skin.

The viscosity of a lotion can be as thin as liquid water to a lightweight gel. It can vary depending on the formulation and targeted benefits of the product. Regardless of how viscous it is, they do pack a major punch of ingredients. You can either pat the product as most do, I prefer to massage it into my skin gently. It comes just down to personal performance, I believe. There's lotions targeted for acne, anti-aging/firming, brightening, or simply just moisturization. There's many to choose from within the Japanese skincare market. Almost every J-Beauty brand more than likely has one in their lineup of skincare options. Brands like Hada Labo, DHC, Shiseido, SK-II, Kikumasamune, Sekkisei to name a few and many more. Nice optional choice to add to a routine. I've admired & have adored Japanese skincare for many years and continue to using their products. Facial Oils seem to be a trendy step in a skincare routine as of lately. They are beneficial for someone who's of a more drier skin type. Some facial oils are filled with antioxidants, fatty acids and other nutrients.
